Elecnor foundation chair of renewable energy and energy efficiency

The Elecnor Foundation is working with Madrid's Polytechnic University's Higher Industrial Engineering Faculty to promote education in renewable energy and energy efficiency in the university, and to encourage R&D&I projects in this area.

Our collaboration with the University is enhancing the education of students to create professionals with a real understanding of the problems and how they interrelate, preparing them for the world of work.

To this end, in 2009 we signed an agreement with the University setting up the Elecnor Foundation Chair of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. This aims to achieve our objectives through activities such as traditional energy efficiency seminars, presentations, grants and awards for dissertation projects and visits to facilities.
